Important Points:
1. It is possible that I made a mistake. If your name is not on the lists and you think it should be, please let me know. I cut and paste a lot so I very easily could have messed up.
2. I may have misjudged your playing. If you think I made a mistake in this regard, please talk to me or email me for more information or to set up an additional audition.
3. A lot of improvement can be made over the summer. Schedules can still be changed. The best thing to do if you aren't where you want to be is to practice, get private lessons if you don't already have them, come to the summer workshop (s), and show that you should be in a different place.
It is always my intent to place people in the best place for them and for the ensembles at MTHS. It is not an easy job and there is a certain amount of guessing and hoping in each decision. Ulitimately, we are all better off if the placements are correct. Please talk to me for more information.
Students placed in Jazz Ensemble 1 and Chamber Winds are REQUIRED to attend our summer workshops. Everyone else is welcome and highly encouraged to attend.
